When
the international Master Robert the Trent Jones holds between his hands an
always limpid sky, palm plantation of Marrakech celebrates it, the majestic
mountains of the Atlas, a mottled horizon of white médinas, it creates one
chief-in Ouvre in 18 holes - by 72: the Golf of the Palm plantation. It drew an
aired valley, animated thousands of palm trees, decorated of seven lakes. Many
sand obstacles add has this green table the pearly whiteness of the beaches of
the Atlantic. In the heart of the ground the walls ochres and the green tiles
from the club-house, splendid Moorish building are detached.


The
course is of a great beauty, with its flowered gardens, its vast orchards of
orange trees, palm trees, eucalyptus. The panorama of the snow-covered mountains
of the Atlas is sublime. It is one of the oldest courses of Morocco. Course 18
holes by 72.


It
is the most technical course of Marrakech. Its crushed red ground pits make its
originality and its beauty of it. The outward journey is undulating, the return
has water parts as to the hole n°15, one by 5 of 447m with 2 side lakes,
obliging the fairway to describe a double dogleg. The club-house has an original
architecture, decoration is rich and neat. Terrace, the sight on the course and
the Atlas is splendid. The Amelkis Golf accomodated the Open one of Morocco
2000.
